Long Time No See

Ok, we had an over extended break, what did i do? Absolutely NOTHING. Stayed home, watched the siblings, parents went to work, tried to make plans to see friends, plans epically exploded in my face. I was very sad. I hadn't seen my friends in 3 WEEKS til this morning.

Um, christmas. I actually got some pretty awesome stuff this year. My favorite "toy" being these things called piano gloves. They're just gloves w/ a few fancy wires, and when u press down (with your fingertip) on literally ANYTHING it plays a note. It has treble clef and bass clef. AWESOME. lol. I got TONS of clothes mainly. But I was probably most pleased by any new music I got. :)

I read the book "Life of Pi" for my pre AP english class next semester. NEVER read that book. EVER. It's terrible.

I did go sledding once. My sister and her boyfriend and I took my 3 younger siblings sledding at D&E one day. It was alright I guess.

Anything I learned was due to Snapple Caps ;P Each cap has a "Real Fact #__" followed by a bit of information. Such as "Real Fact #152: In 1985, the fastest bicyclist was clocked at 154 mph."

L & R Chosen Ones

Ok, so faulty optimistic me, says that L & R should chose my web site for a good reason. And that reason is that the website is all about THEM!! What use am I gonna get from it? They can have it. Free of charge :)

Now, the next matter of business, is who's website they SHOULD chose. Personally, I would chose a combination of Dillion's and Valerie's. I really liked Dillion's layout and professional affect. But at the same time Valerie's pictures/information/links were all very nice. Very helpful. Elaborate. So yeah, that's what I would do.

To spell check in dreamweaver you simply go up to "Text", click on it, go down to "Check spelling" and click that. DONE. Repeat for every page of website.

Now our next matter of business is my very own L & R Home Builders website. I'm not done :( I have like 8 pages and only 5 of them are anywhere near completion. Buuuuuttttt, Mrs. Stalnaker wants us to write about it anyway so here goes:

-make animated things. Like moving lines, bursting pictures, etc

Grade TODAY

If I were to give myself a grade on my WEBSITE I would personally give me a B or even a C. It's boring. I don't really like it. But it's supposed to be professional and i am putting all the info on it. So, yea, a B.

L & R Home Builders

Um, well, I haven't had as much time to work on it as I would like, I don't have much done yet. But from what I have done I would have to say that I'm honestly completely lost. With the whole construction thing. It's just not really my thing. I can't really grip exactly WHAT I need to do still. I have succeeded at creating a background color. I have also created one button. But I have failed at using photoshop for anything else :( ANYTHING. End of story

VRC

Ok, so the latest news in Dreamweaver is learning how to create a webpage using a template. It's pretty simple. A little confusing AT TIMES. But not near as bad as it could be. As for creating a VRC site, it's alright. I'm glad we finally get to make something just like "BAM!! DO IT!" (but not cruelly though, just kinda like, awesomely). I didn't use a template. I started from scratch. Just 'cause I'm THAT good. Haha, just kidding. I don't really know why. I just did.

What kind of web site would I like to create? I would like to make a web site on whatever I want. No guidelines. Or, like, a service of your own. Then at least you'd have a topic to limit it a little. But even then, I know I could have some fun with that

Presenting

So I did my presentation of my resamay. I thought I did pretty good. I tried to be calm, still be me, present my webpage, try not to be one of those people who think they're all that and a bag of a potato chips when they're really not even worth the grease in the bottom of the bag. I wasn't going to pretend to be right when I was wrong. I have to admit I'm peeved that I got an 87% on it though. Mrs. Stalnaker docked me points because I put "3rd" instead of "Third" in THIRD ward elementary. I don't recall that being bad. ??? *sigh* Another time I recall saying "This is my TABLE. It's borderless so you can't really tell" and people STILL gave me a zero on that cuz they claimed I didn't have one. Foy... people people people. And I didn't know it was a resamay to be a WEB ASSISTANT. Cuz then I would've made it gray, dull, boring (professional). And I would've talked in a monotonuos tone and never smiled nor laughed. I would've acted like a boring stick. I thought it was just a normal resamay for anything. Say if the Old Brick were some sort of business, I bet they would've hired me. mhm
